Forty Things Before To Do Before I'm Forty

I am trying to convince myself that turning forty is really happening to me. Am I not still thirty? Thirty-five at least? Those all sound young. Forty? It sounds...forty. FORTY!

In my endeavor to make things exciting in my fortieth year I have decided to take on a special project.

I want to do forty new and exciting things before I'm forty (or at least in my fortieth year!)

I will be posting a list of the 40 things I'll be doing, but you can list yours too! I will have a facebook page marking it all off! Become a follower and let's do it together! You can be thirty, forty, or fifty!

  1. Following you every step of the way! I have to think seriously about my list. Mine would be 60! I turn 60 this year!! Crazy cause I don't feel like a 60 year old ;-) xoxo

  2. Looking forward to your 40 countdown. What a year you will have! 40 is amazing. It's young and vibrant still. 40's beat 30s. They do. I'm a bit apprehesive about the 50s I face (I'm 48) but hey, I have always been on a upward trajectory. Good luck! We will be watching.

  3. OMG I'm so with you. Exactly 40 in 1yr 6 months and a few days. I've already started to plan the party. However, I don't know that I have 40 things to do (other than laundry loads) until this time. Can't wait to see what you come up with! Cute. xoxo

  5. I'm turning 40 in April and NOT looking forward to it so maybe I should participate to make myself feel better about the situation? Looking forward to your list of 40!

  6. Turning 40 was eye opening in a very good way! Bottom line is I dreaded it for nothing! It's the BEST I have ever been and not scary at all. Now, being in my mid-late forties, the thought of turning 50 is a bit intimidating, but I still feel 25 inside! Love, love, LOVE this idea!!! Xoxo!

  7. Like PPM I dreaded it for nothing. I lived my entire 39th year in fear of 40! What a stupid waste of a year. I have been 40 for two years now and totally think it is the new 20! My husband threw a fabulous blow out party at the pavilion at our beach. I'd do it all over again!
